The 2025 Toyota 4Runner, coming soon to Stokes Toyota Hilton Head in Bluffton, SC – serving Hilton Head Island, Hardeeville, and Beaufort, SC, and Savannah, GA – will offer two amazing new powertrains. The new standard engine is the i-FORCE powertrain with a turbocharged 2.4L 4-cylinder engine that churns out 278 hp/317 lb-ft of torque. However, for the first-time ever, the 4Runner is also offering a hybrid system. The available i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain pairs a turbocharged 2.4L 4-cylinder engine and electric motor that unleashes a combined 326 hp/465 lb-ft of torque to make it the most powerful powertrain ever for this model. Plus it has a 6,000-pound towing capacity1. Both engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and your choice of 2WD, part-time 4WD, or full-time 4WD. Inside the cabin, take your pick of a standard new 8-inch or newly available 14-inch center touchscreen displaying the newest version of Toyota Audio Multimedia with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. The 4Runner has also gotten an upgrade to the latest safety tech with standard Toyota Safety Sense 3.02.
